Ben Shapiro was the honored guest speaker for the Notre Dame College Republican’s 69th Annual Lincoln Day dinner on Thursday, March 30th. Dinner was held in Jordan Hall where guests were able to meet Ben Shapiro and ask him questions. Dinner was followed by a speech in Carey Auditorium starting at 7:30. The dinner event was very well attended and Carey Auditorium was filled to capacity for his speech. Mr. Shapiro gave an interesting, informative speech, sprinkled with humor, on far reaching topics about today’s culture, politics and the media. Numerous questions from students followed that allowed Mr. Shapiro to demonstrate his depth of knowledge and clear thinking. The speech and questions took over two hours with all participants displaying exemplary politeness.
